Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is one of the leading business schools in Europe, accredited by AACSB, Equis and AMBA. To strengthen our faculty in the Management Department, we are filling the following full-time, tenured position as of October 1, 2023 (or earlier/later).

Teaching Professor (f / m / d) in Business informatics / Information Systems with a focus on blockchain / fintech

The ideal candidate has a teaching and applied research focus in business informatics / information systems with a focus on financial technology, fintech innovation, AI, blockchain, digital assets, crypto assets, digital securities, and smart contracts. The successful candidate is expected to develop, coordinate, and teach courses in these areas in English and German for undergraduate and graduate business students, and to supervise final theses in bachelor's and master's programs. We are especially interested in this professor developing courses that bridge business informatics / information systems, finance, and management.

Requirements:

  • University degree and completed doctorate.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience after the doctorate (could be inside and outside the university). In exceptional cases we will consider candidates with less experience, but a minimum of 5 years of experience after the doctorate is required.
  • Experience in university teaching, evidenced by list of courses taught including evaluations. Ability to teach in German and English.
  • Relevant (applied) research publications.
  • Practical experience within the area of financial technology / fintech innovation / AI / blockchain / digital assets.
