The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is one of Europe’s leading business schools, accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. We invite applications for a faculty position as Teaching Professor of Mathematics & Statistics.

We are looking for a colleague with an excellent record of teaching mathematics and statistics to join our Computational Science & Philosophy Department. 

The successful candidate will have a record of providing exceptional instruction in mathematics and statistics at the baccalaureate level and of promoting student scholarly excellence in the mathematical sciences.  The successful candidate will have some publications at the intersection of applied mathematics and computational science on a topic that adds to our department’s research strength in machine learning, statistics, data science, computational and mathematical biology, network science, or computational social science.  

We welcome applicants at the rank of full (tenured) teaching professor. We explicitly welcome international applications, but candidates must be able to teach in both German and English. Completion of a PhD in mathematics, applied mathematics, or a closely related field by the date of the appointment is required.  The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience teaching mathematics as a university lecturer or equivalent experience.
